F-2485 ATLANTIC BUMPER, Chloroscombrus chrysurus

A very common little jack in shallow to moderately deep high salinity water. Larger species found offshore. Strong anal spines with an unarmored lateral line. Ventral profile very strongly curved compared to a nearly straight dorsal profile. Mouth very oblique. Silvery body with yellow fins. A small opercular spot and a spot on the caudal peduncle. Size: juvelines
