General Information:The Philippines lily is originally from the island of Luzon in the Philippines and produces white, funnel-shaped trumpet flowers. Blooming in full sun, this herbaceous, perennial plant can grow up to 4 feet tall and blooms fully from mid summer to early fall. The Philippines lily cannot grow in crowded conditions and requires lots of water to survive in the warm conditions. After removal from soil, lilies can only last about 14 days.Medicinal Uses:Most commonly, the Philippines lily has been used to treat fever, cough, edema, tumors, burns, tendonitis, hemoptysis, and insomnia.
