Become a Member of the Aquarium

 Members of the aquarium enjoy free  admission to the aquarium for the length of membership, a quarterly members  newsletter, a yearly members only field trip email updates on special events and a 10% discount off all items in our gift shop. By becoming a member, you help support our mission to give people an appreciation for the diversity of life in the sea and a desire to protect it. We do so by using our touch tanks, graphic exhibits and conducting field trips to provide a unique “hands-on” experience enabling students to touch, smell, and hear the odd and interesting creatures of the Gulf of Mexico, and develop an awareness and desire to protect the fragile life in the sea.

There are currently four levels of Gulf Specimen membership:

Individual Membership- $45

  • Includes complimentary admission for the named member for one (1) year.

Family Membership- $85

  • Includes complimentary admission for four members, and two(2) additional guests per visit, for one(1) year.

Patron Membership- $500

  • Includes complimentary admission for the named member, and seven (7) additional guests per visit, for one (1) year.

Life Membership- $3,000

  • Includes complimentary admission for the named member, and seven (7) additional guests per visit.
