Aquarium is closed to the public on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day
Admission: $6.00 for adults age 12+  •   $4.00 children 3 - 11 yrs.•   No charge for children under 3

Panacea, Florida, Wakulla CountyPanacea is located on US Highway 98 on the shores of Apalachee Bay and is bordered by the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The town is located 30 miles south of Florida's state capital, and is served by Tallahassee's Regional Airport and Interstate 10.

Like the life of the sea, Gulf Specimen is a little hard to find. Take US 98 to Panacea, turn east on Rock Landing Road across from The Landings's Restaurant and Motel, and then left at the Gulf Specimen sign.

GSML is two blocks east of Highway 98 on Clark Drive, behind the Bayside Shopping Plaza. Motels, camping facilities, parks, hiking trails, and some excellent seafood restaurants are within walking distance.
